Patouch is an educational app designed for children accompanied by adults, as well as adults who want to discuss topics related to violence prevention with children.

3.1 Location Data

  • Type: Precise location (GPS)
  • Use: To center the map on the user’s location and show nearby Patouch Zones
  • Collection: Only when the user accesses the “Patouch Zone Map” feature
  • Storage: Not stored, used temporarily
  • Optional: The map still works and displays all Patouch Zones even without this permission

3.2 Personal Information (Patouch Zone Registration)

When registering to become a member of a Patouch Zone as a business, shop, or public place, we collect:

  • Company name (optional)
  • Title (optional)
  • First and last name (required)
  • Email address (required)
  • Phone number (required)
  • Postal code and city (required)
  • Use: To process membership requests for Patouch Zones
  • Storage: Sent via EmailJS to Patouch
  • Optional: Only if you want to register your establishment as a Patouch Zone

3.3 In-App Activity Data

  • Progress in games and activities
  • Use: To save progress and improve the user experience
  • Storage: Locally on the device (SharedPreferences)
  • Automatic: Not sent to external servers

3.4 Device Identifiers

  • Firebase Installation ID: Unique identifier generated by Firebase
  • Use: To enable Firebase services (Firestore database, Firebase Storage)
  • Required for the app to function

3.5 Local Technical Cache

  • Type: Temporary cache files (PDF, audio, images)
  • Use: Improve app performance and reduce downloads
  • Storage: Locally on the device
  • Technical: Not considered additional personal data collection

4. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect to:

  • Provide the app’s features (games, PDF content, Patouch Zone map)
  • Save progress in activities
  • Process Patouch Zone registration requests
  • Improve the user experience

Important: We never sell your data. The app contains no advertising and does not send push notifications.

  • Patouch Zone forms: Retained as long as necessary to process the request

  • Firebase data: Stored according to Firebase retention policies

We take appropriate measures to protect your data:

  • Encryption in transit: All communications use HTTPS/SSL

  • Access: Obtain a copy of your personal data
  • Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your data

  • Game progress: Uninstall the app or clear its data via Android/iOS settings
  • Firebase ID: Uninstalling the app deletes your device ID
